KAJ 'BUSHY' BUSCH
FISHING/BOATING JOURNALIST AND TV PRESENTER

Kaj "Bushy" Busch was a co-presenter for the Rex Hunt Fishing Adventure television program for Channel 7 and it's affiliates, saltwater editor of the Fly Life magazine, a columnist for NSW Fishing monthly, a regular presenter of the ABC Radio's "Gone Fishin" show and a prolific writer, photographer and guest speaker with a high profile throughout Australia and New Zealand.

He has also written feature articles and columns for a dozen or more magazines and is the author of a successful book entitled Fishing the Sapphire Coast of NSW.

Bushy has fished extensively throughout Australia as well as in New Zealand, Vanuatu, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Thailand, Nauru, Christmas Island England, France and Canada. He has represented Australia in the World fly-fishing Championships and competed successfully in a number of other world-class tournaments both overseas and in Australia.

As a tutor for Melbourne State College of Advanced Education during the late 70's and 80's Bushy specialised in snow skiing, kayaking, canoeing and other outdoor survival techniques. He holds advanced instructor's certificates in kayaking and canoeing and has taught many students how to safely operate small vessels under a range of conditions. Bushy has also sailed Flying Fifteens and 21 footers and has worked aboard oil rigs in Bass Strait.

Bushy is a competent and skilled boat operator and a highly respected and well-known angler with a significant media profile and a readily recognisable persona.

Bushy was co-host of the highly successful " Hooked on Adventure" series with Steve Starling seen on Channel Seven recently.
